Green Screen:
Used mainly during the scene in which Connor shrinks down to a miniscule size and is almost trampled to death by footfall during a busy time. By simply filming in front of this and during post production stages, using colur correction tools on Final Cut Express to remove the green from the background, we could superimpose Connor with ease onto the background scene of footseteps.
Stage Lights and Foot Lights:
Used primarily when shooting the Ninja DJ scene, we used the footlights in the back ground for added effect as well as the coloured stage lights upon the ceiling to add more colour and re-create a disco type effect. both sets of lights controlled via a lighting board, which was pre-programmed with lighting commands by the Ninja.
The Lock-Stock Fixed Shot Harness
In order to recreate the shot used in Lock-Stock, we realised that by simply following Connor with the camera wasnt going to cut it. we studied the scene and from our findings we believed that we could create a harness that would create the desired effect. By simply gaffer taping a camera tripod and camera to a chair, which was then placed on Connor's shoulders, we could recreate the scene almost perfectly, albeit we hit a snag when we realised you could see the chair back, hanging behind his shoulders. However this was rectified through the use of black coat placed over the chair back to blend in with the black background.
